1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a contract between you and Edme-habesha Technologies Ltd. (“we”, “us”) governing your use of the Edme-habesha mobile application and website (the “Service”). By creating an account you accept these Terms and our Privacy policy.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 years old. Keep your login details secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms or applicable law.
3. Wallet, gifts & fees
Your wallet balance is held in US dollars and funded through PayPal or card payments processed by our payment partners. Gifts are irrevocable once sent, except where required by law or where a scheduled gift is cancelled before delivery. Exchange rates and any fees are shown before you confirm. The wallet is not a bank account and does not earn interest.
4. Payouts
Hosts may withdraw their balance to a supported local bank or mobile money account. Payout times depend on the receiving institution. You must provide accurate account details; we are not responsible for funds sent to details you entered incorrectly.
5. Celebrations & user content
You keep ownership of blessings, photos and recordings you upload, and grant us a licence to host, transcribe, translate and display them within the Service as you direct. You must have the right to share any content you post. Hosts control which blessings appear on their celebration page.
6. Community rules
Do not post content that is hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, fraudulent or unlawful, or that infringes others' rights. Anyone may report a blessing; reported content is hidden pending review. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.
7. Prohibited uses
You may not use the Service for money laundering, fraud, sanctions evasion or any illegal purpose; attempt to access other users' accounts or data; interfere with the Service; or use automated tools to scrape it.
8. Third-party services
Payments, sign-in (Google, Apple), speech transcription and translation are provided by third parties under their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete my account or via our account deletion page. Remaining balances should be withdrawn first. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms.
10. Disclaimers & liability
The Service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in the app or by email. Continued use after the change means you accept the new Terms. Last updated: June 2026.
